Privacy Policy

The short version

Tediro Flow helps you record what the same product costs in different shops, so you can see where it's cheapest and set a target price. Everything you type into the app stays on your phone. We don't run an account system, we don't have a server that receives your lists, and we don't use advertising or analytics tools.

This policy explains what that means in practice. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Matthew Murray, the publisher of Tediro Flow.

What you enter into the app

To work, the app keeps the information you choose to add:

You don't need to give your name, email address, phone number or location to use Tediro Flow. Please don't put sensitive personal information into free-text fields like product names or notes. The app doesn't need it.

Where your data is stored

Your products, stores, prices and targets are saved in the app's local storage on your device. They aren't uploaded to us, and we can't see, access or recover them.

If your phone's system backup is turned on (for example iCloud Backup on iOS or Google device backup on Android), your operating system may include the app's data in that backup. Apple or Google handle those backups under their own privacy terms and your device settings. We don't receive a copy.

If you delete the app, or lose the device without a backup, the data is gone for good. We have no copy to restore.

Price-target alerts and notifications

When you set a target price, the app checks it on your device against the prices you record. When a logged price reaches or goes below your target, Tediro Flow can show you a local notification.

• These notifications are created by the app on your phone. They don't go through our servers or a third-party push service.
• The app doesn't search the web or contact shops for prices. Alerts are based only on prices you enter.
• You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.

What we never collect

NOT STOCKED The following are simply not on our shelves:

• Accounts, logins, names, email addresses or phone numbers
• Precise or approximate location. Store names are just text you type, not GPS data.
• Advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking or targeted ads
• Analytics, usage-tracking or session-recording tools
• Payment or card details, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access

We don't sell, rent or trade personal data, because we don't have any to sell.

Third parties

Tediro Flow doesn't include third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. Some parties outside our control are still involved in getting the app to you:

• App stores. Apple's App Store or Google Play handle downloads, updates and any purchases. They may collect information under their own privacy policies. We may see aggregated, anonymous reports they provide, such as download counts or crash statistics if you've agreed to share them with developers, but these don't identify you.
• Your operating system. Backups and notification settings are handled by your device's OS, as described above.

If you email us, your message and email address are handled by our email provider. We use them only to reply to you. See Aisle 08.

Your choices, your rights and children

Your data is already in your hands. You can edit or delete any product, store, price or target inside the app. To erase everything, delete the app from your device and remove any system backups you no longer want.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. We don't hold personal data from the app itself, so those requests usually apply only to emails you've sent us. We'll delete those on request.

Children. Tediro Flow is a general shopping tool and isn't aimed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The app collects none from anyone.

Changes to this policy and how to contact us

If the app's features change in a way that affects your privacy, for example if we ever add optional cloud sync, we'll update this page, change the effective date and explain the change inside the app before it takes effect. Anything new like that would be opt-in.
